MedTranDirect was developed using Microsoft's .NET environment. It allows providers to submit HIPAA compliant transactions over the internet using a browser at local workstations. These claims are stored on a secure remote where they can be examined and resubmitted, if necessary.

- Claim "filters" can control access to claims by receiver, payer, bill type, and alpha range.
- Edits and prints paper claims.
- Three levels of edits at receiver, payer, and claim level to help prevent unnecessary correction and resubmission of claims.
- Email Notification of updates made to the software.
- Claims can be imported from your existing system.
- Direct transmission of government claims.
- All Claims are archived for a minimum of six years.
- Ability to perform CCI, OCE and CPT4 Code Validation.
